TOWN OF OSCEOLA, WI (WTAQ) – Crews were called to a home after a fire took place Sunday morning.
The fire at W726 Birchwood Drive started around 10:30 a.m. in the garage.
Multiple departments responded as the fire quickly spread to the home.
Crews were able to safely evacuate everyone from the residence.
The initial investigation points to a faulty extension cord as the cause of the fire.
Officials say the home, the garage and two vehicles that were in the garage were all destroyed.
Nobody was injured, but one person was taken to the hospital for minor injuries that were not related to the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
