WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A man accused of killing his mother and fleeing the state is now being held on a $1 million cash bond.
36-year old Bradley Boettcher is charged with first-degree intentional homicide for the February murder of Lee Ann Dorn at her Appleton residence. Boettcher waived a normal 10-day limit for a preliminary hearing to be held so he could hire an attorney. According to the criminal complaint, the two often argued about him moving out and he would threaten to kill her.
Boettcher is set to return to court in December.
