WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – An Oshkosh man charged in his child’s death is heading to trial in February.
28-year old Cory Lyons faces one count of first-degree reckless homicide in the November 2018 death of his 7-week old son.
Lyons has pleaded not guilty to the charges, despite admitting to causing the injuries. The criminal complaint notes that Lyons admitted to shaking the child and allowing his head to snap back. Autopsy reports show the child died from brain injuries.
