GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Fox Valley YMCA is making more space for some of the youngest residents in the community.
Fox West YMCA in Greenville broke ground today (THURSDAY) on its new childcare center.
The childcare center will be able to accommodate 150 children.
President and CEO at YMCA of the Fox Cities, Bill Breider, tells FOX 11 the expansion came about because the community expressed a need for it.
“This region, this Fox West community, has seen continuous growth and a high percentage of that growth is with young families who have children that are in that childcare age. We also have been in communication with the Hortonville School District about the possibility of doubling our space for 4K programs as well, which is a huge need here.”.
All current programs and facilities at the Fox West YMCA will continue through construction.
The childcare center is expected to be completed sometime next year.
