GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A man who is accused of stabbing a Green Bay Police K9 says he is not guilty of the charges.
Sai Vang entered the plea in court Friday.
He is charged with causing injury to a police animal after allegedly stabbing Pyro back in April.
Police were called to Vang’s home on the west side of Green Bay after it was reported that he was threatening to kill his father.
Police used the services of Pyro to help apprehend Vang, but Vang pulled a knife out and stabbed Pyro.
Vang apologized for stabbing Pyro but said he did it out of instinct because he is afraid of dogs, according to the complaint.
