APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A man who stole two vehicles on Thanksgiving Day was convicted in Outagamie County Court after entering a no-contest plea.
Jonathon Harper is charged with two counts of criminal damage to property and one count of vehicle theft, endangering safety, burglary, child neglect. possession of meth hit and run causing injury and operating while intoxicated.
Police say Harper stole a vehicle and crashed it. When people stopped to help, he took their vehicle and drove off with a teen inside.
Police were able to use the phone of the teen’s friend to track down the vehicle, located the teen and took Harper into custody.
Harper is scheduled for sentencing on November 26.
