MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ) – A former Coleman volleyball coach was convicted of child sex crimes Wednesday.
42-year-old Jason Nieminski entered a no-contest plea to five counts which included sexual intercourse with a child, possession of child pornography and causing a teen to view sexual activity.
The criminal complaints states that Nieminski and the teenage girl exchanged explicit texts and photos and engaged in sex multiple times.
The girl told police that the interaction started when she was 15-years-old. She said Nieminski even provided her with birth control.
According to the complaint, his wife said that he confessed t sending the messages with the girl.
Nieminski resigned from the school district in February of 2018.
