OCONTO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – The Oconto County Sheriff’s Department made two arrests in high profile investigations last Thursday.
Sheriff officials received information from the Wisconsin Department of Justice DCI about the downloading of child pornography in the Town of Little Suamico.
A search warrant resulted in the identification of a suspect and the arrest of a 60-year-old male.
That same day, Sheriff Officials and Oconto Falls Police received a tip about drug trafficking in Oconto Falls.
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle which led to a search warrant at a residence. The combination resulted in the finding of 156.28 grams of methamphetamine, 23.72 grams of MDMA, 63.90 grams of hashish oil, 26.69 grams of marijuana, 3.54 grams of cocaine, illegal prescriptions, drug paraphernalia, and two firearms.
A 20-year-old female was taken into custody.
Both are awaiting charges from the Oconto County District Attorney’s Office
