GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) – Grand Chute Police have identified a married couple that was found deceased in their home earlier this week.
“The cause of deaths have been determined to be gunshot wounds,” said Officer Travis Waas of the Grand Chute Police Department.
Police say the bodies of 40-year-old Koua Xiong and 36-year-old Se Chang Xiong were found in their bedroom.
Officer Travis Waas says they are still investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
“There is also the possibility of a suicide pact. We don’t want to lable anyone a murderer if that is the case and we don’t want to call it two suicides if someone was murdered.”
He says everything that happened that morning was isolated to that bedroom.
Police were called to the home on West Roberts Avenue on Monday for a welfare check.
