OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – After months of investigation, the son of 60-year-old Lee Ann Dorn has been charged with her murder.
35-year-old Bradley Boetcher was charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide on Monday. The charges stem from the February murder of his mother.
Boetcher is listed as an inmate at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Kentucky.
The criminal complaint states that Dorn and Boetcher lived together and arguments about him moving out would sometimes result in him threatening to kill her.
According to those who know him, Boetcher had mental health issues and is believed to be schizophrenic.
According to records, one person that knows Boetcher says he believes that he is on a mission and is chosen. According to the complaint, “Boetcher’s beliefs have gone through a process where he was originally a Free Mason, then the luminary, then an alien and now a supercomputer.” He said Boetcher was in contact with supercomputers and could avoid having to stop at red lights. He says Boetcher had been getting impatient because the supercomputer had not come and picked him up yet.
Police reports indicate that Dorn died from blunt force trauma to the head.
