STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Sturgeon Bay Police have arrested a woman for her third OWI offense after she crashed into a storage shed over the weekend.
It all started early Sunday near the intersection of Jefferson Street and North 8th Avenue when an officer spotted a vehicle hitting a curb, crossing the center line and speeding.
During the high-speed chase, the vehicle crashed into a storage shed in the 600 block of North 8th Avenue.
The driver was taken into custody.
Police also reporting the driver had marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her possession.
It’s been a busy month. The department says it had a total of 13 drunk driving/drugged driving arrests in the month of September.
