GREEN BAY, WI (METRO) – Two women who worked at the Packers Pro Shop for years are looking at charges after police say they stole thousands of dollars.
Prosecutors say both 57-year-old Patty Meyer and 67-year-old Susan Adelbush used a return scam to steal from the store.
“The Green Bay Police Department was alerted on July 28th. We were able to substantiate two charges of theft for two suspects which are misdemeanors.”
Meyer is accused of stealing about two-thousand-dollars by placing things on hold, then returning them for cash. Prosecutors say Adelbush did something similar but stole close to 18-thousand-dollars from the store over the past six years.
“The investigation now is focused on uncovering any evidence and making sure we provide a full report to the Brown County District Attorney.”
Investigators do not believe the two were working together.
