GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – With more rain in the forecast, flood concerns continue.
“Typically we attack the areas on a complaint basis.”
All storms are different, but with the right intensity, duration and amount of rain, drainage becomes an issue.
“The storm sewer system just needs time to be able to take that flow.”
Green Bay Public Works Assistant Director Jim Brunette says what we saw Wednesday, could have an impact on what happens Thursday
“The ground is supersaturated and smaller amounts of rain could have a bigger effect due to that fact.”
Public Works will also research areas that were flooded to see if any projects could be scheduled that would make it less of an issue in the future.
