APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The longtime executive director of Harbor House in the Fox Valley will be retiring.
After 29 years, Beth Schnorr announced she will be leaving the position in May of 2020.
This will give her and the organization enough time to find and train a replacement.
Under Schnorr’s leadership, Harbor House grew from an eight-bed shelter program to now providing 68 beds and numerous programs such as economic, legal, support groups, 24/7 helpline, community education and more for survivors of domestic violence.
Schnorr tells FOX 11…
“Harbor House plays such an important role in our community. I have been fortunate to work with so many passionate and committed staff, volunteers and board members over the years. Harbor House would not be what it is today without their dedication. I am excited about the future of Harbor House and proud of what we have accomplished together.”
The search for a new executive director will begin this fall and conclude in early 2020.
