GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Several counties in Northeast Wisconsin are under flood warnings until 6:45 p.m. as heavy rain moves through the area.
The rain has caused street and property flooding in some areas.
Brown County Emergency Management says those living on Monroe Road. (Hwy. GV) between Hoffman Road in Bellevue and Dickinson Road in Ledgeview have been advised to evacuate to the south.

The rain may cause street and property flooding in some areas. Green Bay police say some businesses on Mason Street on the city’s east side are being evacuated.
Police Commander Kevin Warych says we’re not out of the woods yet.
“the latest update we have from the National Weather Service is the Green Bay area could receive up to 4 inches of rain by the end of Thursday.”
At this time, the city of Green Bay says the following streets are closed due to flooding:
East Mason at Goodell
Baird Creek at Beverly
Bader at Deckner
Shawano, east of Hazel (So far no issues with fire trucks leaving the station)
Huron & Sitka
Mason & MainTerrace Lake Court – west side
Main Street at OakdaleSycamore Drive
More heavy rain is expected during the afternoon commute. That should get here sometime after 3:30.
Warych says people need to pay attention and help themselves stay safe.
“knowing the precautionary measures people can take, which we’ve posted on social media, we people are prepared for this incoming weather.”
Warych says pay attention to the barricades and don’t make the mistake of driving through the water when you don’t know for sure how deep it is.
The Farmers’ Market on Broadway in Green Bay has canceled its event tonight (Wednesday) night event due to the chance for severe weather.
Officials also say the weather this week has made it difficult for produce vendors to harvest their crops for the market.
