TOWN OF WRIGHTSTOWN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The town is delaying a decision on a request to build a biodigester.
BC Organics has proposed building a $60 million biodigester to process manure from 13 area farms. A public hearing was held on the issue earlier this week.
Originally, the town’s Plan Commission was scheduled to discuss it Monday, with the full Town Board considering it on Wednesday.
However, when the town’s agendas were published Friday, the Plan Commission meeting was canceled, and the Town Board agenda does not have it as an item.
According to town clerk Donna Martzahl, no new dates have been scheduled for the proposal.
