GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Green Bay families are receiving some help in the form of a grant.
U.S. Bank donated $50,000 to NeighborWorks Green Bay as part of the company’s $1 million annual fund to support workforce development, arts and culture and affordable housing.
NeighborWorks will use the money to support the Titletown Workforce Housing and Real Estate Development Program, which supports the preservation, rehabilitation, and renovation, of low to moderate-income housing.
“NeighborWorks Green Bay is very grateful for the generous donation and continued partnership with U.S. Bank. The donation fuels our mission and allows us to have an even greater impact in the community,” said NeighborWorks Green Bay’s president and CEO, Noel Halvorsen.
On Sept. 7, U.S. Bank and NeighborWorks Green Bay will hold a gift celebration event at 8 a.m. at Baybrooke Estates, a nine-building 40-unit housing complex recently acquired by NeighborWorks Green Bay on the 1400 block of Admiral Court. Following the event, volunteers from U.S. Bank will be painting interior doors and hallways at the property.
