FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – A person was rescued after a fire in Fond Du Lac Tuesday afternoon.
Fire officials say the fire was started from an overloaded dryer inside a two-story apartment on Grand Court.
Firefighters noticed smoke coming from the hallway where the dryer was located.
A man was rescued from a second-floor window and four people were treated for smoke inhalation on scene.
Residents were able to return once the fire was put out.
The cause is said to be accidental.
