OCONTO, WI (WTAQ) – An Oconto County man has pleaded guilty to his 11th OWI.
66-year-old Douglas Kluth will be sentenced next month and faces up to 15 years in prison.
In the latest incident, Kluth was reportedly .134 times above the legal limit.
Officials say the State Patrol was assisting with a traffic incident when Kluth, 66, parked his vehicle and approached a trooper. The trooper saw an open beer on the console. Kluth said he had four beers in the three hours prior.
According to the complaint, Kluth did have a valid driver’s license.
He was last convicted in 2006.
