GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Nearly two dozen cats are in the hands of the Wisconsin Humane Society after they were rescued from a home on July 17.
Officials say it was a hoarding situation where 17 adult cats and 6 kittens were living without proper care.
The residence did not have running water and two of the adult cats were nursing but struggled to care for their kittens.
Every cat was in need of medical attention after suffering from things like upper respiratory infections as well as skin and eye infections.
