Before even getting down to Farm Tech Days, there was already a line of cars waiting to pull in. Once we got the car parked, the line was all the way out of the field and onto the road. You could say that people were a little excited to come check out the show!
The morning kicked off with the introduction of the Walter family, along with a little speech from the newest Alice in Dairyland, Abigail Martin. From then on, it was go time! You honestly need the whole day to check everything out, or to at least try.
When you walk into Farm Tech Days, you get handed a
program
that has a map in it. Trust us….you'll be thankful that you have it.
There were a couple favorite things on the “Must Check Out” list.
1. The antique tractors. Why? Because antique tractors are awesome. That's the only argument we need.
2. The beef cattle tent.
Just look at these guys!
These cattle could make anybody say “I just wanna take one home”. The best part is that there are other breeds of beef cattle there too.
Also at Farm Tech Days there's some horse clinics, field demos, a block party, and a lot more!
The whole point is that there's something there for everyone, no matter if you come from a farm or not.
The big farm show goes from July 23rd – 25th at
