OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – An Oshkosh intersection is set to close for more than two months.
Oregon Street and West 20th Avenue will close Monday, July 29, according to the Oshkosh Public Works Department. The closure will last around 10 weeks.
The project is to reconstruct the intersection and three different detour routes will be posted:
- Northbound travelers: Traveling North on Oregon St., take West 24th Ave. to South Main St. to West 9th Ave. to Oregon Street
- Eastbound travelers: Traveling East on 20th Ave., take West South Park Ave. to Ohio St. to West 9th Ave. to Oregon Street
- Southbound travelers: Traveling South on Oregon St., take West 9th Ave. to South Main St. to West 24th Ave. to Oregon Street
The Oshkosh Public Works Department says drivers should find a different route and be careful when coming to a construction zone.
