OMRO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – People camping at EAA AirVenture and Rock USA are being asked to keep an eye out for a camper that was stolen from Omro.
Police say the camper was last seen at the Omro RV Park, 1938 Main St., early Monday afternoon, and may have been taken on Wednesday afternoon.
The 2020 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup model 16FQ, valued at $14,000, had never been used. It is a 16-foot single-axle unit. The camper has a Horn’s RV sticker on all four sides, and the owner had not put license plates on it yet. The VIN is 5ZT2CKEC4LY003258.
Investigators released photos of a camper of the same model and similar design.
Anyone with information is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
