GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The explosion and fires in Madison Friday are having an impact in Northeast Wisconsin.
The State’s Consolidated Court Automated Programs online system is down and that means that the Brown County Circuit Court network is down for the time being.
Any internet, e-mail, e-filing with the Circuit Court, Clerk of Court, Register in Probate and the Family Court Commissioners Office will not be available.
Anyone with urgent matters can file their documents manually.
The hope is for the entire system to be up and running again on Monday.
During this time, the Brown County Courthouse is still open and scheduled court hearings are still taking place.
Deadlines for filing have been extended to 11:59 p.m Monday, July 22.
Also, the Brown County Clerk’s office will not be able to access any state vital records due to the system going down.
This will impact those looking to obtain a marriage license, birth certificate, death certificate and in some cases, U.S Passports if vital records need to be accessed to obtain one.
The Brown County Clerk’s office will remain open on Friday and will run with limited services for customers.
