GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says a semi caught fire at Contract Transport Services (CTS) on the 1600 block of Cofrin Drive last night.
CTS is a trucking transportation service in the city.
The Green Bay Police Department and Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to the fire just after 7 p.m.
Police say as the fire engulfed the semi, the air pressure in the truck’s tires caused small explosions.
CTS says the damage from the fire was minimal, and it expects to resume business as normal today.
Authorities say no one was injured.
It’s still unclear how the fire started.
