GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Bay Beach Amusement Park’s new 100-foot-tall Ferris Wheel, the “Big Wheel,” is almost ready to open.
The Big Wheel opens to the public on July 4 at 11 a.m. with a ride costing three tickets, which is a total of 75-cents.
On Tuesday, July 2, the Friends of Bay Beach are holding a fundraiser with the opportunity to be one of the first 600 people to ride the Big Wheel by purchasing a $50 ticket.
Ticket holders not only reserve a spot on the inaugural ride, but also will get a commemorative T-shirt, free popcorn, free cotton candy, bottled water, and commemorative ticket and photo.
The main ticket booth at Bay Beach Amusement Park will be selling tickets for the Big Wheel event, which is from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Big Wheel seats around 120 people at a time.
