OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – The suspect in an Oshkosh stabbing, which took place on December 1, was convicted Wednesday.
24-year-old Dustin Rosenkranz pleaded no contest to first-degree reckless injury, which is a charge reduced from an attempted homicide count.
Additionally, he was convicted of aggravated battery.
Court records show that sentencing is scheduled for September 9.
Rosenkranz got into an argument and slashed Jeremy Jent on the neck with a knife.
According to the criminal complaint, Rosenkranz said Jent slapped him first, so he pushed back and punched Jent before grabbing a hunting knife.
