GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Northeast Wisconsin homeowners are being warned by experts to be on the lookout for mold.
This comes after local residents experienced widespread flooding, which was caused by an unusually wet spring.
Mold can form due to damp conditions inside the home can and will grow if not spotted and properly cleaned.
Residents and pets can become ill from indoor mold, especially those with weak immune systems.
Common symptoms include breathing issues like asthma, shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing or flu-like symptoms.
