GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The menu for the tastiest week in Green Bay has been posted.
It’s never to early to plan for Restaurant Week in Green Bay.
The annual event is taking place July 11 through the 18th, but Brenda Krainik of the Greater Green Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau says planning starts now.
“Getting that out there early really does help get people in the mood for dining out and maybe getting their friends and relatives to join them.”
She says people start looking online early to set their meal plans and there are around 60 restaurants participating, and if you don’t see your favorite restaurant there may be a reason.
“There are a lot of restaurants that are a little too small to participate and it didn’t work for their business model.”
Newcomers this year include Hotel Northland’s Poke the Bear and The Walnut Room and others.
“We have eight different restaurants that haven’t participated before. We like to see that and every year we have about that many new.”
Reservations in some cases are required.
Krainik explains the best way to plan for the week.
“Go to the website and make a master list and then go to your family and friends and invite them to join you.”This year offers lunch and three-course dinner menus at participating Green Bay area restaurants. Prices range from $11 to $33.
