APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – The Appleton Police Department is warning people about a fake GoFundMe page asking for donations for a fallen firefighter.
The department posted Saturday evening about the page asking people not to donate.
Mitchell Lundgaard died while responding to a medical call on Wednesday.
“We are working on shutting it down now,” the department said on Facebook.
