GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The ninth and final ship of the Tall Ships Festival is coming from the Windy City.
It was announced on Friday, that “Windy” will be traveling from Chicago’s Navy Pier to Green Bay’s Leicht Memorial Park.
The ship is a traditional four-masted gaff topsail schooner that measures 148-feet.
The ship is also the only ship in the festival that will offer a sail excursion from Sturgeon Bay to Green Bay before the Tall Ships Festival on Thursday, July 25 at 8 a.m.

The Tall Ships Festival will run from July 26 through July 28, which will feature an appearance of the World’s Largest Rubber Duck.
Food, markets, live music, fireworks, and sailing excursions on the ships will all be featured in the festival.

The ships will leave Green Bay on July 29 and sail through Sturgeon Bay and sail past Algoma on July 30.
