MENOMINEE, WI (WTAQ) – A rollover crash of a semi-tanker in Menominee, Michigan, has left the driver in the hospital.
The crash occurred Sunday afternoon just before 4 p.m. near the Highway 41 and Highway M35 intersection.
The tanker was filled with 80,000 pounds of liquid whey from Canada.
A towing company was unable to turn the tanker over due to the heavy weight and was forced to empty it.
The 66-year-old driver was transported to Green Bay for treatment after being taken to a local hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
