NIAGARA, WI (WTAQ) – The Marinette County Sheriff’s Department says that a man succumbed to his injuries and has died following a crash.
Deputies say 38-year-old Brent Recla of Vulcan, Michigan, crashed his pick-up truck on U.S. HWY 8 in the Town of Niagara on Saturday, April 13.
Recla failed to stop at a stop sign at U.S. HWY 141 and crashed through other highway signs, before eventually going into an embankment.
Recla was pulled from the truck by medical officials and flown to a Green Bay hospital.
Deputies say alcohol was a factor in the crash, which is still being investigated.
