DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Sunday was a day to walk for a good cause.
Hundreds of people walked in De Pere to raise $100,000 for a cure for multiple sclerosis.
Participants were able to go on a 1 mile or 3-mile route.
Matthew Denis, Walk MS: De Pere committee member tells FOX 11 they are happy for the support from the people.
“Knowing you can be a little bit part of that, and try and make these people’s day a little bit better after you see the struggles that they go through. It’s the little things that we can do and try to make their lives better, that brings us out here, and brings us that warm, fuzzy, doing these types of events.”
Planning for next year’s event will begin soon.
