MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – A Manitowoc bowling alley robbery suspect plead not guilty on Wednesday.
Torrey Cronce is facing one count of robbery with threat of force for an incident at Meadow Lanes North, which took place on April 1.
Cronce entered the not guilty plea and waived his preliminary hearing.
He’ll be back in court on June 27 for a plea hearing and no trial date was set.
The suspect entered the Meadow Lanes North bowling alley at 2 p.m., according to Captain David Vorpahl, and said he had a friend in the car with a gun, and demanded cash.
He left the scene after being handed cash.
A vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle was later noticed by a patrol officer.
Police discovered items in his apartment, after getting a search warrant, matching items from the robbery, including clothing items.
Cronce was later identified by police on video at local businesses after the robbery, apparently spending the proceeds from it.
