LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) – A group of students received a donation that will help them educate their community.
Little Chute Students focused on teaching hands-only CPR received kits that they can use in their mission.
“We were able to present the students with their CPR kits that they are going to be able to use as they go out into the community and teach hands-only CPR.”
The Career Pathways group received the donation on Thursday.
Abby Kaufman is an Athletic Trainer with ThedaCare and is the trainer at Little Chute High School.
“The kits are from the American Heart Association and were donated by ThedaCare.”
Kauffman says the donation of kits gives the kids access to educational material and one key item.
“Not only does it have DVD’s and handouts, but it also has the actual mannequin that the students will help teach with.”
The Career Pathways group has already taken time to teach hands-only CPR at sporting events and community events.
Kauffman says the school plans to keep this group going, welcoming in new students each year.
