APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – An Appleton man has been charged with federal charges in the armed robbery of a bank in March.
19-year-old Xengxai Yang was arrested shortly after the robbery on March 15 at Community First Credit Union on West Spencer Street.
Police say Yang wore a mask, showed a rifle with a barrel less than 16 inches in length, and left with the money.
Yang also allegedly assaulted people while in the bank and committing the robbery.
