BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – The Brown County United Way is making an investment of more than $1 million dollars that will help one in three county households that struggle with basic needs.
The organization announced on Friday that they are investing $1.1 million in local programs that assist families with education, health, financial well being and community connections.
“We are excited to provide this funding as we work to achieve our community goal of 10,000 individuals on the path to stability in 10 years,” says Robyn Davis, Brown County United Way president and CEO. “Through the generosity and trust of our donors, we are able to wisely invest in the programming that helps people overcome their difficulties in life.”
April 1st is when the funding cycle for the grant starts and it will run for five years.
