ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – On Wednesday Ashwaubenon Public Safety received information from a woman who answered an ad for modeling.
The person she spoke to inquired if she was willing to perform sex acts with white men to make money. They added that if she could bring in someone younger, under the age of 18 they would pay her extra.
The person wanted to meet at an Ashwaubenon hotel.
The investigation into this led to sex marketing on a number of websites. The investigator made contact with a person believed to be an Asian female who set up a meeting to exchange cash for sex.
The meeting was to be at a local hotel so a team of investigators versed in Human Trafficking got together to attempt to catch the suspect.
On March 21st Investigators met at the hotel with the suspect, identified as 39-year-old Meixian Feng of China. Investigators learned she was an international fugitive.
Feng was arrested for Prostitution and Keeping a Place of Prostitution.
She is currently in the Brown County Jail on these charges and a detainer was placed on her by ICE.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety works with Brown County Sheriffs, Green Bay and De Pere Police to combat the criminal activity that surrounds human trafficking.
