TOWN OF WOODVILLE, WI (WTAQ) – A traffic backup in Calumet County Thursday morning was due to a crash between two semis.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of highways 10 and D, according to the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office.
Police say a semi headed south on Hwy. D did not yield at a stop sign and hit a semi headed west on Hwy. 10.
A car headed east rear-ended another car, pushing it into an SUV, as traffic backed up west of the crash on Hwy. 10.
Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A third person involved in the initial crash was not taken to the hospital.
Another three people involved in the second crash were not taken to the hospital.
