WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A lane on 441 from Oneida Street to Racine Road will remain closed Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. as crews conduct emergency repairs to a large pothole.
Crews were out Wednesday morning to address the pavement and are now attempting to finish the job.
Traffic was backed up in the morning due to the pothole.
According to crews, significant rain overnight caused damage to the pavement.
Hot-mix asphalt brought from Milwaukee is being used by crews to reduce the risk of the pothole reforming until a permanent pavement fix can be done in the spring.
During repairs, the westbound US 10 /southbound WIS 441 on-ramp from WIS 47/Appleton Road and the westbound US 10 /southbound WIS 441 off-ramp to County P/Racine Road will also be closed.
