TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ) – The Two Rivers Fire Department responded to a house fire Sunday morning.
The call came to to the 1000 block of 17th Street in Two Rivers.
The fire department reporting the fire began in the kitchen.
The homeowner actually tried to put out the fire before firefighters arrived. They believed the fire was out before leaving due to heavy smoke.
Crews put the fire out in less than an hour.
There is an estimated $25,000 in damages.
No injuries were reported.
