APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – An Appleton mother has been convicted for her daughter’s death.
37-year-old Nicole Gussert pled guilty on Thursday to a count of child neglect-consequence is death after not caring for 13-year-old Brianna Gussert’s health issues, which caused her death.
Court records show that she will be sentenced on April 17.
The criminal complaint states that Brianna had severe health issues which required constant care and her death resulted from infections caused by unsanitary conditions.
