GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Green Bay teen was convicted on Monday for robbing a pizza delivery driver.
17-year-old Malik Jenkins was convicted on one count of armed robbery and will be sentenced on April 8. He faces up to 40 years in prison.
Jenkins showed a BB Gun and netted $20 from his robbery attempt in November.
Jenkins and a 15-year-old suspect both pointed guns at the driver, demanding the pizza and taking his cash, according to the complaint.
The incident happened on South Oakland Avenue in Green Bay on November 9.
After reviewing the doorbell video from a neighbor, police were able to track the suspects to a residence.
Police found the suspects and the pizza after getting a warrant.
According to the complaint, both Jenkins and his cousin admitted to pulling a BB gun on the driver.
