SUAMICO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Hodari the giraffe celebrated his birthday at the NEW Zoo in Suamico.
Guests enjoyed free crafts and educational opportunities on Sunday.
People could even sign a card to wish him a happy birthday.
The big day is actually Tuesday when Hodari turns 15.
The New Zoo’s Neil Anderson tells FOX 11….
“In the wild, they typically live 20 to 25. In captivity, sometimes a little bit longer, but usually they’re right around that mid-20’s as well, so we’re super excited that Hodari is here, he’s been with us 14 of those 15 years.”
The party isn’t over yet. There will be activities again for guests to enjoy the next two days at the zoo.
