APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – New upgrades have been unveiled at Appleton International Airport.
ThedaCare and the airport have a new partnership which includes these new upgrades. The additions include a more streamlined security checkpoint and open floor plan.
Travelers will have healthy menu options. Hand sanitizer stations will also be placed in the airport.
Both organizations say the goal is to offer a more comfortable, healthier travel experience.
Abe Weber, Appleton’s International Airport Director tells FOX 11….
“We have been working diligently on making this airport the most convenient place, travel that passengers can see. When they look to book we want to make sure this is their airport of choice.”
Appleton International Airport is now the third-largest airport in Wisconsin, behind General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee and Dane County Regional Airport in Madison.
