OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – The City Council of Oshkosh has approved a revamped rental unit inspection program.
Four areas of the city will be targeted for inspection during the next five years.
According to the city, there is no cost for the initial inspection and also no fine if any violations are corrected within 30 days.
A map of the areas was not available Wednesday, but could be done by the next council meeting.
The inspection department can answer questions about the program at 920-236-5050.
A change in state law prevented Oshkosh from implementing their original plan to require inspections of all rental properties.
