APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A winter storm hitting Northeast Wisconsin is impacting where residents are allowed to park.
Appleton declared a Class I snow emergency on Tuesday, which goes into effect at 10 p.m. and lasts until 5 a.m. on Friday.
Overnight parking is prohibited on all city streets during the snow emergency to allow crews to clear the snow in a safe manner.
Vehicles in violation may be ticketed and towed.
Main and secondary streets will be plowed first and residential streets will not be plowed until the snow ends, according to the city.
