SUAMICO, WI (WTAQ) – A Suamico home is being deemed a total loss following a fire Monday afternoon.
No one was inside the $1.8 million home in the 3400 block of Blackberry Lane during the fire.
Blackberry Lane was closed off to traffic between Shady Lane and Lost Creek Lane so crews could work to put out hot spots.
Parents picking up children from Suamico Elementary school were asked to avoid using any entrance on School Lane, because crews continued to use a nearby fire hydrant.
Instead, parents were asked to use the Riverside Drive entrance.
