GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Gas prices are the lowest they have been in quite some time.
Prices in the area differ from pump to pump, but overall, prices are down about 60 cents on average from September prices.
“We are down in the $2.25 a gallon range.”
Dan McTeague of Gasbuddy.com says there are two big reasons prices can be found where they are in the area.
“It has everything to do with the fact that there is just so much crude globally,” he said. “We have some refineries in the midwest that are back online and they are turning out more gasoline.”
McTeague says prices may go down a little more, but a jump is expected to occur before Christmas.
